Greetings from the Amazon River! As you can see it's rainy season. This year the water us unusually high, and many houses are under water. People are losing their homes and crops. Pray that the waters would recede quickly!

I'm in my new apartment! It's a small 2-br place, but it's brand new and perfect for me. It's in a gated complex close to the center of town, and 3 blocks away from Brazil! I'll post pictures next time.

God has already been at work here in Leticia. He has sent several Y people to us already, and two Y ladies came to my house a couple of nights ago asking if I would teach the the Bible. They got so excited, they wanted to sing worship songs in their language, but they didn't know any. Pray that I'll find some old recordings for them.

The Jenkins and I have many opportunities to teach the Bible to several people groups.

Please pray for:

*Georgie, who got bit by a dog and had to go to the capitol for medical treatment with her family. God is already healing her, but there seem to be some complications. Pray they can return soon.

*The Y people who live here in Leticia. I hope to meet all of them and gather them for Bible study and discipleship.

*God would give our team focus on exactly where He wants us to join Him in His work. There is so much need, but we want to do the BEST things.

I'm enjoying the heat, the sun, and the rain here. The people are very nice, and I've already made some good friends. Thank you so much for your prayers!
